Is this out of stock everywhere on vinyl? I don't want to pay ??25 just because I was to unorganised to get a copy when it came out.

    Huh. Who reissued this?

    Trunk Records,

I think it was fairly limited, 500 or 1000 copies. ??25 seems fair at present. Only going to go up.

Thanks, I didn't realise it was so limited. Such a cool album.

I would like to check this out, anyone here have an actual copy? Can anyone compare to any other albums?

  • One particular dealer on here had a few copies of the LP a year or more ago, and even then it wasn't cheap. I think the price is probably going to go stratospheric next time it hits the 'bay.

  • It's quite a unique sound: there's some clips at the bottom here:

  • Trunk is a legit operation. Also see the Michael Garrick "Moonscape" LP they did, and "mike taylor remembered." Both top top releases. Yeah, I haven't seen a copy of the Klein hit ebay since it was reissued. I'd be surprised if an original ended for less than maybe $250 for a clean copy. Great jazz for sure.

  • I'm pretty sure I saw a copy show up after the reissue came out. Finished around $400 I think, but it might have been a BIN.

    Amazing record.

  • if i were you i'd bite the bullet and pay the 25GBP - its worth it!

Johnny Trunk is an awesome collector of film soundtracks, you should check out his podcasts.

Absolutely. Trunk's packaging is also quite slick.

  • My local store still have copies of the reissue, priced at a reasonable ??11.90.

I think I might go and pick up a double tomorrow.

  • Downtown Music Gallery in NYC had a few copies when I was there in the Summer, maybe shoot them an email and see if they have any more copies?

These are very rare recent reissues, you must be mistaken.

(now go grab that copy and flip it on ebay - or at least sell it to the og poster for twice what you paid.)
