I recall there being a few bike enthusiasts on here- just stumbled upon these and saw a link....am sure you already know about it, but just in case.....bikepron
Join the club, that's a factory mid 70s 50cc Grand Prix race bike ala Jan de Vries or Henk van Kessel, raer. I've never seen one in real life. It'd be pretty sweet to own one. They are tiny too, we had a 50cc Suzuki race bike from the 60s, crazy gearing & you really had to tuck yourself between your knees to get balance, it was like riding a really complicated toy.
There is a 1949 Vincent Black Shadow for sale in Australia at the moment, complete restoration required for 39K, so nice. If I had the know how I'd be tempted to cop. I'd imagine it would be very rewarding to bring something like this back to life and with fewer than 1700 made a good investment..............I think?
that would be a cool project but 39k is a lot of startup to drop on restore job before the restoration even starts. a guy i know had a Vincent Black Prince which I think is rarer from memory but definitely uglier.
