it felt like someone hit my apt. with a truck.

    3.4 . epicenter in marina del rey. less than a mile from my house.

    I live less than 5 miles away and didn't feel a thing which is funny since I did feel the one out in San Bernadino county last week.

    The 3.4 was at 3 something PM in the afternoon. The one at 8:34 pm was less than a 1.5. The original poster must have been right on top of it.

    I didn't feel the first one. I'm on the boarder of L.A. & Santa Monica. My girl felt the same thing in Westwood. Rick & Nick are out here too. I guess it was a WEST-SIDE Thang.

    I live in the same town as the epicenter of the '71 quake, which inspired Charleton Heston back when. I feel another one is due. I'd take risks of earthquakes over tornadoes and floods, personally.
