Vestax Mixer HELP!

Just copped the Vestax PMC 05PRO III about a month ago. Previously, I had a 05 PRO II that was awesome until some broad spilled shit on it and it's been half stepping ever since. At any rate, my new joint works great. Although it does seem to be slightly less durable feeling than it's predecessor. My issue is the right volume fader keeps getting hung up. It moves, but not all buttery smooth like it should. I've taken the part out and looked closely at the metal piece that the actual plastic nub(?) attaches to and it doesn't seem to be hindered or caught up. I'm really confused as to what is caching it. I've used some clipper oil to free it up and that works great but it will still get caught up every few days. It definitely feels as if it's rubbing on some other component or wall but I cannot see what or where. Anyone else have to deal with this f*cking annoying shit?
