Certifiably little dude here as regards DJing/rare breaks, but a big record nerd for a long time, and I thought I'd post a couple of breaks edited from some of the rarer prog stuff I have in case they'd be of use to anyone. A couple heads have deemed them officially , so here you go.The first one is from the debut album by M??quina, the first Spanish rock band and notable opponents of the Franco regime; the album's called I>Why? M??quina!/I>, although this break is from a live track collected on the re-issue (yeah, I know ...)Original track:http://www.zshare.net/audio/544207368b3fb930/The break I edited from it (slowed down and with some compression to curb the nasty clipping on that ride cymbal):http://www.zshare.net/audio/544208876f930b1d/ ... and the second comes from I>No Alternative/I>, the first album by the fantastic British/Australian group Jonesy (if there are any fellow prawg dorks around, they might be interested to know that brothers John and Trevor "Gypsy" Jones both went to Simon Langton School in Canterbury with Robert Wyatt, Mike Ratledge, and Hugh Hopper of Soft Machine, as well as the Sinclair brothers of Caravan/Hatfield and the North/Camel/National Health fame). "Ricochet," the track:http://www.zshare.net/audio/544211592676e33b/And my break edit (again, slowed down a bit):http://www.zshare.net/audio/5442122464d60086/Peas to the Strut.
