Best Buy has a deal on the mini series...thinking about scoopin' it up. Your thoughts?

    Best Buy has all HBO miniseries for 1/2 price.

    I was wondering about GK myself when I saw the box
    there on the half-price table, since I've never seen
    an episode.

    Its hard for me to recommend anything to the strut, since everyone's tastes here are so much more advanced than everyone else's. This and Breaking Bad are the only two series that I checked for this year.

    I would try to catch a rerun or DL an episode first.

    Its a good series. I wouldn't say its up there with the wire but worth picking up for half price. Anyone seen the Sons of Anarchy ?

    It's a really good series and gets better as it progresses. The last episode where the war is over but just starting if you know what I mean says a lot about why things were so fucked up.

    I got the DVDs for Xmas and I think the show is far better upon re-watching. Plus it comes with a glossary and you can turn on the subtitles, both highly recommended if you want to get something out of GK.
