Stop by Peoples Records* and grab Brad Hales' img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/potatoworthyyz3.gif" alt="" 21 a href="http://fryinginnards.blogspot.com/2008/12/another-thanksgiving-funk-45-mix.html" target="_blank"1most recent funk mix/compilation CD/a1 that he did for Thanksgiving, if you haven't already. It is top-notch. I love funk, but I'm not that heavy into collecting 45s though. It has been a while since I have heard a funk playlist where I really don't know any of the songs with most of them actually being good. I think I only recognize one for the break, but other than that - everything is beyond my knowledge.b, 21b, 21a href="http://fryinginnards.blogspot.com/2008/12/another-thanksgiving-funk-45-mix.html" target="_blank"1img src="http://metrotimes.com/sb/107712/BS_Peoples.jpg"1/a1b, 21b, 21I posted a couple of the tracks like Eddy Jacobs Exchange and Johnny Morrissette, per Brad's approval, on a href="http://fryinginnards.blogspot.com/2008/12/another-thanksgiving-funk-45-mix.html" target="_blank"1my blog - Hubert is Frying in Vein/a1. Help yo'self.b, 21b, 21For all those not in Detroit, I guess a fellow Strutter will have the mix available on his site probably sometime next year. Brad's got to hook up some details first. In the meantime, try to get to Peoples. Holler at a local and all that.b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21*Oh yeah, reason why you have to stop by the store is that Brad wants people to get it directly from him at the moment. He is asking that folks don't rip it and share it. He will eventually have that done soon enough.
