I just bought this 45 today & was pretty shocked to get home & find that one just sold for $1550 a month or so ago. What's the story behind this 45? It's great funky soul & is basically a raw version of Darrell Banks "Open The Door To Your Heart" with different lyrics & a female vocal, the flip is a nice bluesy soul ballad. Anyone able to give me an OG check? It seems original to my pretty well trained eye. But i've never come across it before & didn't even know about it before I took a chance this morning. The label is from Greenville Mississippi. I can find references to her other 45s on google but they are on a different label. Anyways, if someone can give me some background on this 45 it would be cool.
