The film maker applied for possible funding at various places and if anything works out, the film will get finished earlier. No political turmoil included. We didn't shoot in Guinea but only in Ghana, Togo and Benin. When I arrived back in Guinea from my last stay in Accra, they closed down the airport two hours later due to a police strike and there's also been an army mutiny shortly before we left the country. It's been quiet since but that's because it's been the rainy season, I'm sure there will be more or less serious trouble within the next few months since the rainy season ends just about now. I'm glad I'm in NYC.
