    Johnny Cash is on of the few artists that was perfect and should never be covered or remixed. b, 21b, 21And don't even try to give me the "some band only you have heard of does a killer cover of a boy named sue" story.

    oh my god.b, 21b, 21i know pete rock did this for the $$$$ but that is one of the worst mixes I've ever heard.b, 21b, 21I absolutely agree that Johnny Cash should never be remixed EVER.b, 21b, 21I am not even a fan of Cash , but I can listen to his stuff from time to time , but i feel sorry for anyone who 'discovers' him via this CD.b, 21b, 21very very afraid to check out the snoop dogg one.....

    The Shut Em Down remix seems a very very long time ago listening to this. What in god's name convinced him it would be a good idea to turn it into some kind of Steps line dancing song?

    b, 21b, 21b, 21I know. What is the point of this CD? It's not like Johnny Cash is some lost treasure from the annals of music. He just had a huge renaissance following the movie. There are more ways than ever to get into his music. I'm no huge fan either, but IMO his best-known stuff is pretty damn timeless. No need for an "update." b, 21b, 21If you want to remix old Verve joints, fine. Those songs are largely slept-on by the mainstream populace. But who hasn't heard "Walk The Line" or parts of it in the last couple of years?
