b, 21b, 21Seriously as much as Im a J5 head, he doesnt have that one song that makes him a hero in the larger sense.b, 21b, 21Yeah he gets his here and there but I cant place him next to Ernie Isley.b, 21b, 21/object1b, 21b, 21But he does rock this Gamble and Huff era Jackson classic.b, 21b, 21Rhythm Guitar Herob, 21b, 21all the big solos on this British concert was some session cat. Not Tito.

Plus I dont know what J5/Jacksons song would qualify as challenging for cats playin the video game.

  • HAND ME A TISSUE!

  • So, Batmon, how about Side 2 of the i1Goin' Back To Imdiana[/i] soundtrack, which is a J-5 live show? Haven't heard it in a minute, but IIRC Tito was pulling off some righteous wah-wah leads...probably the most time his guitar ever got on a record ever...(I've never heard that live album that the Jacksons did in the eighties).b, 21b, 21Tito is a blues artist now, so he probably has plenty of room to shred & wank...

b, 21b, 21My real name is Tito. If I ever meet Eddie, I'm going to let him know he's made my life miserable with that joke. b, 21b, 21 img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/WHYMUSTICRY.gif" alt="" 21

  • I kinda get the impression that Tito had the six-string skills, but like Clarence Carter, Barbara Lynn, Don Covay and other soul guitarists, his work was either buried, or he had a studio stand-in. I understand Tito was not happy when the first J-5 album came out minus his guitar - one of the earliest Jackson Five singles on Steeltown had an instrumental B-side ("Jam Session"), which was basically a Tito guitar showcase...b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21I remember reading that when Michael and Jermaine came out with their first solo albums, there were plans for a Tito instrumental elpee. Since he used to tell interviewers back then that Jimi Hendrix and B.B. King were major influences, it would have been interesting to see where he would take it, solo-wise...

b, 21b, 21I heard about this project too. b, 21That would have been real adventurous for a teen-driven artist.
