Metallica "Death Magedit"

heard someone (albini maybe) did an edit of the new Metallica...chopping out the shitty parts and leaving only the good stuff...cant find a link. At my failure to find it I decided to do my own...re-edited track 2 this AM...there seems to be a good 40 minute album in the damn near 80 miutes they released. Too many "tender" moments and some lame nu-metal rhythms stuck in the middle of songs with some top-shelf metal riff bukkake. "My Apocalypse" is the only track that doesnt need editing IMO. I will post my re-edited album when finished (hopefully this weekend) but in the meantime does anyone have a link to the "re-edit" Ive heard about? Wanna compare notes...

Plantweed said a guy on Albini's board(?) did it... I think it was him - maybe someone else - who said the edit was like 10 mins long and all instrumental?

The edits are available via the torrents. I got it playing now, dude did a pretty good job of rearranging the tracks and paring down a lot of the "Enter Sandman"-type intros to get to the meat of the tracks.

So I guess the new Metallica isnt half good, only a third good...but a tough 25 minutes...I guess they still have it in them in small bursts.
