Seriously though. I know it keeps us busy but, even my Girls Moms made a record!!! Did Everybody Make a Record in the 70's?

    My dad (r.i.p.) apparently went into an L.A. studio and did one or two tracks in the early 70's. One or two acetates were made, I definitely remember seeing and hearing it but that was it. It might be in the hands of a collector, at Goodwill, or underneath a parking lot.

    My grandma beats them all. she cut a 45 (7 inch) in 1959 for my uncles, aunts and mum (after my grand dad died)... it was spoken word poetry.b,121b, 21Apparently in Argentina you could go to the Post Office and record whatever you wanted and they press it up for you. Its like a metal plate with acetate on top. I got the only copy, its semi deteriorated but it still plays in parts.
