audacity question

ok, im gon rip some stuff but im lazy so i just want to rip a full side of a record and then cut it into the seperate tracks in audacity. can i do this? how do i do this? thanks!b,121b,121loveb,121shig

    b,121b,121b,121Yes. Just select the portion for each song, create a new audacity file, paste it in and then export the file as either an MP3 or WAV.

    you can also put markers at beginning of each track (after recording one whole side) (Project>Add Label At Selection) and once done export multiple tracks (File>Export Multiple)...

I have to export them as AIFF then change convert them to MP3 with Switch. It's some proprietary thing.

    You need an additional add on to convert them to mp3. I just export as a wav file and then use itunes to convert them into mp3s.
