One strange thing I noticed on my copy of the CD is that "Stay" and "Trying To Tell You" seem to be the same song. Perhaps two different, but VERY similar, takes?

I realize Soundscan's importance, but if it's between me buying it at Borders and buying at the record store I used to work at (where I managed the hip-hop section) I have to go with my alma mater.

    Went to the store to pick up the Jake-One I ordered, but when I got there it turned out to be a clean promo copy for me instead of the real deal. Had to order it again, but it won't be in for a few weeks. Goddamn you, Indianapolis.b,121That new PUTS came in last week though and hasn't left the player yet, so at least i won't lack listening to good music until that Jake-One arrives.

    on first lsten that devin joint sounds like a bunch of throw-a-way shit. no "concept" joints at all, the lyrics aren't as clever as usual, some of the beats are pretty bad too.b,121b,121oh well, i'll have to give it a real good liste to give a final judgement.b,121b,121b,121b,121peace,xavier

    the jake one album is insane, my only complaint is the waste of that beautiful beat ("scared") w/ blueprint on it. other than that the album is perfect, and w/ the instrumental cd as a bonus i'll never have to listen to blueprint on said beat.b,121b,121b,121congrats jake!b,121b,121b,121b,121peace,xavier

    Yeah I'm going to have to go check out the fake one as Landing Gear seems seriously underwhelming - gone from laid back to just lazy.
