Chicago Gangsters - different pressings..?

So far - I've seen three pressing of this on Gold Plate:b,121b,1211) The version called 'I Choose You' with the cover of a woman and a gun:b,121 img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v210/aleit/chicagogangsters.jpg"1 b,121b,1212) The version called 'Blind Over You' with the blueish cover and the gangsters:b,121 img src="http://www.popsike.com/pix/20060902/110028115003.jpg"1 b,121b,1213) The version called 'Gangster Boogie' with a brownish cover, also on Gold Plate:b,121 img src="http://i11.ebayimg.com/05/i/001/10/0c/d1fe_1.JPG"1 b,121b,121So - which order did these pressings come in, are there any others - and which are the most valuable? A price czech would be nice - I just picked up a cheap copy of '3)' on ebay.b,121Cheers,b,121Tom

font class="post"1b,121b,121no thats their other (2nd) album. i forget the title. pretty much as good overall but contains no 'gangster boogie' of course.b,121b,121b,121im almost positive you got the order of the 3 pressings correct, #1 b+w photo, then #2 renamed with the goofy blue cover, trying to capitialise on their "hit", then #3 the weird drawn cover which i suspect is the raerest one actually, ive never seen it in the field personally, but the other 2 show up from time to time.

font class="post"1b,121b,121 Hey Jonny, that's good news for me if they really are in reverse order, because I just picked the third one, which I'd never seen before. I've seen loads of the blue one and a couple of the 'I Choose You' issues too. There are some silly prices on popsike for this LP. I don't like all of it - but it's worth it for 'Gangster Boogie' - mad mad drums!

In my experience "Choose You" is the easiest to find. I've never had the "Gangster Boogie" cover.

not sure if theres a orig with the brownish gangster boogie but the official gold plate reissue has that cover

Hmmm I was under the impression the "Blind over you" came first then the "Gangster Boogie" brown cover in an attempt to sell the LP using the "Gangster Boogie" single and this was told to me by a guy from heat Records here in Akron Ohio that The Chicago Gangsters were signed to.... then again he could have been wrong.

Hmm - if anything I assumed it would be the other way round, 9th Creation style. I assumed it was 'Gangster Boogie' first (brown cover), just like 9th Creation's 'Bubblegum' album - then the 'I Choose You' cover second time round to try and cash in using the schmalzy number (like 9th Creation's 'Falling In Love').b,121That's just an assumption though... the ebay seller listed the brown cover issue as Gold Plate pressing from 1975, which would make it older than the 'I Choose You'...?
