dudes did a killer killer killer killer show, then rocked out with the thickest garage mix evarrr in the DJ tent later. Those dudes really love music, and it shows.Anybody else?

A big psych head out here was in the shop and couldn't sing the praises enough. I'm gonna have to check some of this stuff out...

yeah, hipster namechecking aside, Ta Det Lungt[/b] is a fantastic album.

Don't know if Dungen's as much a they as it is a he (in conception at least). Guy seems, um, really focused. Anyone know if his other earlier stuff is as good as this one?

I prefer the debut. More 70's prog, less psych/garage:

I think Dungen (i.e Gustav Ejstes) has a background in hip hop which could explain some of the retro thinking.

  • mp3 clip anyone?

http://www.subliminalsounds.se/DOK/dungen2.html has a few mp3 clips from the new (hyped) album

  • yeah, the guy comes from hip-hop and he plays a lot of instruments.
Dungen producer-guru is the great Stefan Kery from Subliminal Sounds, that explains a lot of things.
