    I never liked this song, but I too thought those lyrics were rather odd for the time. But I never thought the lyrics were OG PIMP SHIT...more like OG WOMAN-BEATER SHIT. And what was with that "giving US his bread" shit? My first thought was that they were gonna take "Sucker John" to court.b,121b,121For Part One of this saga, refer back to Tee's 1965 hit "Teasin' You." Between these two songs, there's enough obscure New Orleans slang for an entire glossary.
