I'ver never watched it on purpose, but my girlfriend's family loves it. It's got that Tyler Perry stamp on it, which is almost as good as gold for a lot of black families today. I've watched a couple episodes and had a laugh or two. Nothing special, just your run of the mill family sitcom. That being said, the original season that came out a while ago was freaking horrible. They were trying to make it a drama with the oldest son having a crackhead wife tearing the family apart, and some really, REALLY bad comedy writing in between. There was a long hiatus between that and the current season. I assume they had to retool the whole thing and get some new writers.
