font class="post"1b,121b,121I'm paying about $180/month w/ BCBS for good coverage for visits, prescriptions, low deductible, and even annual vision exam. I'm wondering what the Fusk is going to happen when I get to CA though.

  • I guess you could say i pay my own health insurance...b,121b,121a href="http://www.ato.gov.au/individuals/content.asp?doc=/content/17482.htm" target="_blank"1http://www.ato.gov.au/individuals/content.asp?doc=/content/17482.htm/a1b,121b,121In any event I'm not paying that anymore because I'm not a resident anymore; my company pays my insurance now. Unless I travel to the US, then the policy doesn't hold and I have to fork out for my own. No idea how much that would cost.

b,121my employer (state of va) has me and my wife covered now, which i still pay $101 per month for. for july and august we had to pay it ourselves, which came to about $190 per month for both of us. that was a high deductible and catastrophic only though.

  • My insurance through Anthem costs me $267 a month..! Those fuckers jacked it up $60/month about a month ago. Mine's pretty good coverage though, $10 copay on office visits, $15 copay on prescriptions, etc. But still...this shit is ridiculous. I'm paying in $3200 a year and I don't go to the doctor for much more than a physical/blood workup every 6 months, and then once or twice during flu season when I inevitably come down with some crap and get bronchitis. My main recurring need for insurance is for the prescriptions.

Kaiser top shelf $229. But I ride on two wheels everyday, and it's already paid itself off.
