I don't have a fetish for Asian women.

But I do have a fetish for groovy gogo girl vinyl from the far east. Holler at me to get rid of your 1966-1972 Asian mod/garage/pop/psych/fuzz/club records by lovely women such as Ouyang Fei Fei, Chang Siao-Ying, Meiko Kaji, Linda Yamamoto, Mieko Hirota, Ayumi Ishida, Miki Hirayama, Katsuko Kanai, etc.

Sure you don'tb,121But seriously, what if the fetish groovy gogo holder doesn't know the artist or title? b,121Prefer Japanese over Chinese?b,121Anti-Korean?

  • The Japanese stuff is usually produced better, but other than that, no ethnic preference.b,121b,121And as far as the names/titles, I don't care at all. If the song is good, that's all I need to know.b,121b,121That said, I *do* have a want-list of Asian 45s if anyone reading this happens to read Japanese/Chinese and is living in an area where they might come across them.b,121b,121I also need a couple of Chinese records by Theresa Teng & Chang Siao Ying and I don't know their titles, but I could send an MP3 for ID purposes.

I like the female vocal 60s go-go jerk stuff from Asia. Shirley Ellis and Nancy Sinatra must have gotten constant play on the military base broadcasts. The cheesy Hammond organ and wah-wah pedal knock offs of the typical Western sound of those instruments and effects work amazingly well. There are a bunch of comps on CD dedicated to this.

I like the same type of music, and there's a record store near me with a pile of Theresa Teng albums, no listening station and prices that make blind buying not worth it. If, out of the goodness of your heart you could share some pictures of the groovy titles, that would make me very happy.

font class="post"1b,121b,121Theresa Teng generally isn't that groovy 'cos she did mostly middle-of-the road pop stuff. I'm only looking for about 2 of her songs total, to be honest: one moody track, and one disco track.
