ebay shipping rule - US $4

This struck me as odd.b,121b,121Starting October 1st Ebay will make $4 the maximum amount sellers can add for domestic shipping in the Music category. This covers media rate only for any LP to be shipped.b,121b,121WTF? Since when is ebay trying to wage war on Priority shipping?b,121b,121Collectors? Thoughts? Sellers? Thoughts?b,121b,121I'm thinking Ebay may need some sensible feedback on this.

    b,121b,121I think sellers are just required to offer at least one $4 shipping option. You can still offer other higher-priced options.

    I have emailed them about it and the dude that got back to me basically said that they are looking for a way to attract more buyers by suggesting a certain postagelimit for a certain product.b,121I have just listed another bunch of record and you can still state a higher shippingrate.b,121b,121They will take action if too many buyers start complaining about the shipping rates but I don't see that happening in the recorddepartment real soon.b,121b,121They are asses nevertheless

    ... or you can offer $4 media mail which is totally standard and cost effective and a more expensive option like Priority or Express mail.

    I hate using media mail. I always get emails asking where their package is. I cut it out because I was sick of it. People are happy with my shipping times now that I ship priority only. b,121b,121Now I got to offer mm? smh
