b,121b,121b,121These are up at the Phillips Collection in DC right now. 65 panels depicting the migration of Black people out of the south to the northeast and midwest. Seriously blew my mind. I had seen some of the pieces here and there, but never the whole series in order.     There is a lot of Lawrence artwork here in Seattle. He moved here in 1970 and lived here until he passed away in 2000. Lawrence was an art professor at the University of Washington in Seattle. Incredible artist.
