b,121I was going to make a post about their new album coming out and then I did a google blog search and found this.. http://indiepassion.blogspot.com/2008/09/dungen-4-2008.htmlb,121b,121Maybe I shouldn't be posting this, but I know there are Dungen fans on here.b,121b,121b,121Its sounding pretty good so far. Out of all the albums, I'm still feeling "Tio Bitar" the most.b,121b,121b,121Can't wait for the album to be released later this month---clear vinyl. I still need to pick up the 12".

i have to say... the last dungen was a massive dissapointment.. b,121b,121but maybe Dungen in general has worn off for me, i think ive reduced Ta det Lundnt to 2 songs on the ipod.

He's released some sort of solo limited edition thingy too. Or is that the 12"? Just saw it in a shop window. I really dug Tio bitar. It's taken me a while to warm up to his singing (and lyrics) but now I'm a bonifide fan.

Out of the 4 Dungen albums I'm feeling S/T the most. Ta Det Lugent was cool, but I'm really not feeling when it gets to poppy. Tio Bitar only had like 2 songs I really enjoyed.b,121b,121This new one is pretty excellent. Overall I'm really impressed by these swedes, especially there Bass Player, and drummer. Definitely a big Soft machine Influence on this one. Track one I kept waiting for Roberty Wyatt to pop up. b,121b,121Samtidigt is pretty fusking nice, his Fuzz sounds really good over headphones, but kinda fucked up and weak over a nice system. Just a production thing that kinda bugs me, but when you play it loud his shit sounds much better.. b,121b,121Definitely feeling this album more than Tio..b,121b,121Real interesting watching the progression of these dudes.b,121b,121- spidey

b,121b,121b,121b,121I think you are talking about Tyst Minut. Its very good. After a few listens, I'm really feeling "4." Its pretty cohesive as a whole.

b,121b,121There is also some Dungen offshot called Life On Earth. It is best left in the shop window.

b,121b,121Still my main gripe with Dungen.b,121I have a hard time with Gustav's weenie vocals, but I enjoy the music,b,121even if it all sounds a bit samey. An instrumental album would be great.b,121b,121Has anyone seem them live? Judging from the live clips on their websiteb,121they are just an average rock band. Mediocre singing and playing.b,121I know, it's just crappy youtube clips, but still.b,121Seems like their appeal (at least to me) is strictly studio created.b,121b,121I do love "Familj" though. Mind garden singalong favorite here.

b,121b,121I've seen them live and I have to say they shredded it. The guitar player broke two strings during the performance and it still sounded good.

b,121b,121I'd go see them if they come to town again. They've been here several times now, and I always manage to miss them. Next time...
