    I'd like to add that I saw Raphael Saddiq last night here in DC. He played a bunch of tracks from his new album (which drops this month) and it sounded like a 1967 soul review. Very soulful stuff. I hope he does well with it.

    Interesting article, even though it confuses one style of soul for another. Usher and Amy Winehouse shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence, unless it's a Billboard Top 10 chart or something.
