sorry for the barrage of ebay questions, but this is more of a 'research'/curiosity one:is there any correlation between the number of watchers and the ending sale price? Like, does an item with more watchers tend to sell higher? Or is it totally random?thanks!

  • i would say it??s totally random!

if you have two dudes that want your item so bad, they would kill for it they are ready to drop some crazy loot.

if there are 50 peolpe watching an item that they "might" want to buy it does mean they are not willing to pay a lot.

you never know what you gonna get...

I disagree. I think the number of watchers can be a reasonably good predicter of final sale price, though it's hardly perfect. It's a much better predicter that your item will at least sell for the starting price.

I was disappointed with the distinct lack of Xenu bukkake though.
