Being from Dublin, I ain't ever experienced a Block Party. I get the idea alright but I want to hear stories, see pictures from strutters.Do they still go on? Why they happen in the first place?Know of any good resources online - I amn't seeing much.Tell me a story.-----------------------------www.recordsyoullwanttoown.com

i got stories, and some pictures on the computer at home.
one i can still remember, is me riding some collapsible commuter bike i found [at the block party] and some herb was trying to be cooler than me by taking off his shirt so i snatched it, and i've worn it often eversince. this was about 4 years ago.
that's one that just came to mind, usually i forget these events due to alcohol, and then eventually spending the night in holding. so that overshadows the fun memories.
whats the key ingredients to a block party. people on the streets, jams, dancing....bust fire hydrants..???
