Doing the college thing. (not trust fund related)

what's up all...just wondering if anyone here gets paid off of something involving music and what they have to say about the necesity of attending a college in this day and age. I know that shit is shifting so it's not really necessary as much to get that receipt after 4 years but I'm interested in hearing what you guys have to say. I was considering doing a combination of music recording/production and business classes. Any input you guys have I would be interested in hearing. I'm located in Chicago if you guys know of any schools as well I wouldn't mind hearing cos the ones I've looked at are poor so far. Not looking for a damn consoler just some thoughts on the matter.
