Moving to Philly from Detroit, looking for info

I'm moving to Philly in September. I'm currently here until Monday looking for an apartment but I'm also looking for tips on good nights/events/record stores/areas/bars/etc. I pretty much know nothing about this city... Suggestions?On a side note I'm spinning with my friends Jeremy Campbell and Scott Zacharias (Detroit) in Williamsburg (BKLYN) this Saturday at Jeremy and Dan Selzer's night, ALLDISCO at Capones - 221 N Ninth St (Driggs Ave). The name sums it up - Italo, Boogie, Loft type ish, etc. 10pm-4am 21+ FREE
