I get to have breakfast for dinner!

This makes me excited beyond words...a rare thing. My girl is making French toast from homemade sourdough bread and thick cut peppered bacon and eggs...word!(*I realize I am getting older when I get excited about things like this, but shit...breakfast for dinner!)

    Breakfast for dinner is well worth getting excited about. I had my breakfast at about 3:30 PM today (see cast iron skillet thread) and I was pretty damned excited.

    Besides, French toast from homemade sourdough bread is worth some excitement at any time of day.

    This was a standard part of my midwestern upbringing. My parents would cook 'breakfast for dinner' when they were feeling especially lazy -- which usually added up to about once a week. I definitely miss that shit.

    i did this tuesday night:

    - mixed Sugar Crisp & bargain Honey O's cereal + "very vanilla" Silk
    - toasted everything bagel
    - orange juice & a can of Tilt

    If it were socially acceptable I would eat breakfast food three meals a day.
