    Gotta hand it to him for catching himself! people say that shit all the time without even bothering to think about where the phrases come from.

    My confusion is this: It sounded like he was disagreeing with her, but I didn't understand how what she said had anything to do with people being either 'unable' or prevented somehow from being anble to talk about race. Did I miss something?
    Perhaps another 'non-statement' about a 'non-event'?
