My son has the 'flu, he is almost 3 years old.It is now 18:16. Since 06:00 his Wiggles DVD has been on repeat. These are the wiggles:

    He loves them, the entire cast of characters (especially henry the octopus), the songs, the whole kit and caboodle.

    i have tried other distractions today, but he is riding hard for the wiggles.

    im dying.

    I used to work with two adult autistic twins that were obsessed with children's television (and obsessions run rather deep with autistic folks). We used to let them watch a lot of that stuff, but we drew the line at The Wiggles, Barney, and that show with the chubby girl sitting on the couch.

    I recommend grabbing some Muppets DVDs. All children (and, as it turns out, autistic adults) like the muppets. Really, all people like the muppets. And you get to cherish up guests like Raquel Welch!
