Im spinning a radio show in August in Montreal at CKUT and I am looking for artists within the funk, soul, hip-hop, reggae, and jazz genres to do some in studio performances. The show is called source the sample and it focuses on the influences that make hip-hop what it is.     Get in touch with people from Nomadic Massive if you're not already familiar with them. You can find them on Myspace. Tempos Fugit is a really nice Jazz group as well they play all over the place and some have played back-up for Kalmunity.
    I'm in the area, but I DJ/Produce and don't think that's necessarily what you had in mind.
    Otherwise those acts I mentioned before are definitely worth it.
