Dead Pigeon on Beethoven Street

I went to the Harvard University Film Archive tonight and saw Dead Pigeon on Beethoven St, Samuel Fuller's 1972 new wave detective thriller shot in Germany for German television. The film is great in many ways, but the music was incredible - I kept thinking, if this isn't Can, it's a pretty convincing copy. The very first credit at the end of the film was "Music by The Can." Unfortunately, they only use the music in the first 40 minutes of the movie for the most part, but what is used is fantastic, as good or better than the stuff on the Can "Soundtracks" album - so, has anyone seen this soundtrack? Does one exist? Was it available in Germany? Can I have one?

Edit: Apparently so. And on sale, as well.
Good Post. Interesting find. Can is dope.
anyone got clips of the music?
not a big sam fuller fan so i haven't seen that one.
The score to The Tenant (or le locataire) is by Philippe Sarde, and is only available on a French split CD with his score for Polanski's Tess. I'm not convinced it contains the funky party track you specified, though, as I think that was more "incidental" music and not part of the actual score. None of the listings I found for the CD had sound clips to sample. I could find no evidence of an original sountrack LP, although someone had a want list posted that asked for the vinyl EP soundtrack, so there probably was one, although again it is most likely just the glass harmonica score without the funky track. I could be wrong, though, and it may be part of the score.
Great movie, by the way, really creepy. I actually saw that one at Harvard, too, just within the past year. The Harvard Film Archive is my second home.
Maybe it's simply some library tune.
Trelkovski chose a great date film in the Tenant! Scene reminds me of Robert the Nero in Taxi Driver taking a girl to a porn cinema.
