I did "Think About It" on his last album. Which was an old beat that I did in college and had a chance meeting with his A&R. The CD sat on his desk for almost a year. He happened to listen to it and send it to snoop who recorded the song that week. Little bit of luck, right place right time.
Since then I did a joint on the last Ghostface album ("white linen affair") and I am currently working with the newly re-formed Trackmasters......yes they're baaaaack.

^HUGE PROPS HOMEY! i'll be bugging you shortly lol. That's cool about the trackmasters. I don't think they get to much strut props, but they're definitley favorites of mine.
p.s. How many of snoops songs were written by someone else on this one? In the new XXL he was talking about how on this album he was letting other people write his songs.
I'm waiting for my sample spotters to blow my spot.....
Nice joint, man.
the kids got beats!!!
What do tone and poke have you doin?
Can't really go into detail just yet on WHO we're working with....but we're crankin em out. Also part of the Trackmasters team is my man (and soulstrut fam!!) The Are .....I know he's reading this so his ass better post

Think About It was my personal favourite track on Blue Carpet and feeling this a lot as well (haven't heard the rest of the album yet). You and Snoop really just need to do an album together - "Snoop Dogg presents Grown n Sexy" perhaps?

Think about it was my favorite track from blue carpet...really feelin this new track too
Frequency, your beat is really mellow and nice. To be honest I don't like snoop rapping over it. For some reason it doesn't fit it, to me.
Though, I am coming from the perspective of wanting him to do a full R&B album produced by Devante Swing. So it's not like my opinion is worth anything.
what up Rerog, just stoppin through. Yesssir, the snoop album is very dope. It's good to see Snoop showin Freq some love. As Freq said, the Trackmasters are back and I'm glad to be a part of what they've got going on. I'm always hungry for hip hop history so talking to Poke on a regular basis paints quite a story. I think someone was talking about an LL Cool J/Ol'dirty Bastard story on soul strut not too long ago. Poke did confirm the Ol'Dirty story in the studio that night. He said Ol'dirty spent hours and hours in the booth just mumbling words and never really getting a verse done. After all was said and done, dirty came out and was mad about something and proceeded to try and have LL's verse erased from the reel. Funny shit cause it was LL's song. lol

I heard this shit on the radio in Detroit. I was banging it on my drive into work. Good stuff, sir!
This song is inspirational. I'm diggin' the message. Yeah, I'm going to buy this CD. The first Snoop CD since Murder Was The Case... jyeah.

Excellent track, Freq! ...probably my favorite off the new Snoop next to Eruption and the Hollywood track.
Think About It is so damned incredibly good...my favorite Snoop song since Tha Shiznit.
What's up ARE...glad to see you're still doing good. Keep it up!
