Recomend me some please. What are your favourite hard bossa tracks? Here's some of mine to give you an idea of what I'm after, and hopefully you will enjoy them also.please to add on. lp's or tracks. mp3 proof would be most appreciated.

    Thanks inVrs.

I definately dig the Joao Donato, although some of it's a bit soft.

The BJT I found a little twee. The lp has its moments but I wasn't really feeling it.

Never heard the Ira Kris, so I look foward to that one. Anyone got it on mp3?

  • Baden Powell "Pai"

  • The first Sambalanco Trio, Sansa Trio and anything with Airto on drums. He was/is an insanely good drummer.
The Bossa Tres LP on Audio Fidelity is quite good and pretty cheap.
Conjunto Som 4 is really good, but not as "hard".
The Quarteto Novo album is incredible.
    The first Tamba Trio record.

  • Tenoria Jr - embalo

    Edison Machado - samba novo

Dom salvador - s/t (more funky than straight hard bossa jazz though)

    Quarteto novo - s/t

various bossa tres and som tres...
