yesterday I went to Crate and Barrel for a wedding registry thing. The future mrs signed us up and when we got there we were handed a bar code scanner and had access to panini sandwiches, coffee, mimosas, chicken apple sausages, waffles, fresh fruit. The store wasn't open yet, just us and some other people doing the same thing. You get some sort of gift bag at the end too. I kept thinking "I wonder if people sign up for these even when they aren't geting married."I ate enough to feel full. Anybody ever sign up for things like this just for the free food?

    we went to one at this place Wolfen Estates way out on Long ISalnd, that had food and booze, that I have often contemplated taking off the rings and returning to on. Not the absolute worst way to spend an cold winter afternoon.
