i watched "all the pretty horses" tonight from netflix which i saw in the theatre when it came out 8 years ago and had no idea was based on a cormac mccarthy novel, aka superstar author of 2008. i enjoyed it much more now than when i was 19. reminded me of a john sayles flick and makes me embarassed i don't read more voraciously.I also am listening to Yo La Tengo's I can Hear the Heart Beating as One which a friend aggressively lobbied for in the car on a road trip once and i never paid any mind to it. not bad

I bought the Janis Ian S/T LP from 1967 out of
a dollar bin this weekend and listened to it for
the first time. Shit is amazing. No wonder people
were calling her a child genius or whatever, that
album rules, even if all the songs are about being 15.

don't know why but this reminds me of another one I'm late to the game on

    60's Sonny & Cher LP's

Phil Spector sounding pop that usually flips people out (at least it does until you reveal the artist)

I find that if you melt the goats cheese first, the children taste better on the pita.

Too much 90s hip hop. Embarrassing.
