  • Here's the listing from my book:

    Barbara Mood[/b]

    "Spohntanious Combution/ What Can I Do" (Nat-Bow 100)

An ultra-obscure New York release from the early '70s. Notable soul figures Sammy Turner and Robert Banks were producer and arranger, respectively, but it seems that someone at the record plant struggled to find the dictionary for the spelling of the A-side, which is, coincidentally, the funk interest. Ms. Mood is possibly related to Gloria Henry, another NYC female who released a version of "Spontaneous Combustion" around the same time on the S.S.I. imprint.
