Command & Conquer for my Mac (VG-R)

A long time ago - over a decade by now - I played this game like a fiend. A few days ago, I dusted off the old game disc and attempted to load it onto my Mac. No dice. I'm really a novice when it comes to games on computers (mine's for design, music, and internet exclusively), so I don't know anything about patches or torrents or things like that. I just want one simple game to play when I'm not around my PS2. Any help?
