I downloaded a mix off here recently and it featured a song with the lyrics of..

"So your brothers bound and gagged and they chained him to a chair won't you please come to Chicago just to sing"

Name that tune! If anyone has it can they post a MP3 of the whole song?

Graham Nash - "Chicago", off Songs for Beginners LP

So your brother's bound and gagged
And they've chained him to a chair
Won't you please come to chicago just to sing
In a land that's known as freedom how can such a thing be fair
won't you please come to chicago for the help that we can bring
We can change the world rearrange the world
It's dying - to get better
Politicians sit yourselves down, there's nothing for you here
won't you please come to chicago for a ride
don't ask jack to help you `cause he'll turn the other ear
won't you please come to chicago or else join the other side
We can change the world rearrange the world
it's dying - if you believe in justice
dying - and if you believe in freedom
dying - let a man live his own life
dying - rules and regulations, who needs them open up the door
Somehow people must be free I hope the day comes soon
won't you please come to chicago show your face
From the bottom of the ocean to the mountains of the moon
won't you please come to chicago no one else can take your place
We can change the world rearrange the world
It's dying - if you believe in justice
dying - and if you believe in freedom
dying - let a man live his own life
dying - rules and regulations, who needs them open up the door

I have three copies of that and didn't even know the answer. Pathetic.

It was also on 4 Way Street. Both should be in the dollar bins.

My friend Barbara Manning does a great version of that. I got her to let me record her doing it in the studio. I'll post it up when it's mixed.

If you check this thread and download the file in the first post and are real real patient and keep your eyes peeled, you'll catch Show cutting up the intro of "Chicago". I used to have a clip that just showed Show scratching the intro but I probably left it on a computer at some old job of mine.

I download that vid a while ago and forgot I had it. By coincidence I came across it a few days ago and watched it. Pretty cool. Didn't notice the Nash. I'll give it a second viewing.
