Do any Boston heads remember this show? It aired in the early nineties on 88.9 in the early AM, and featured a host who called himself V.I.B.E. In the sanctuary of my cave, I have to say, I pressed record. That was in large part my intro to the what was happening in hip hop at that time. Before "88.9 at night", that for me was the go-to spot to check for new UG shit. I didn't see myself, at that time, making it to Gemini records in Dudley Square to pick up the new ish( which is ironic in that I ended up living there for five years in my early twentys), but when Biscuithead opened up on Mass Ave..my fifteen-year-olds Papa Ginos paycheck went directly to that dudes (shit if I can't remember his name) pocket.(End of diatribe)
