Last Minute Help: Cheap Miami Motels w/ no ROACHES

Last minute cruising online for a cheap motel in Miami area (can be anywhere w/in 30 miles of the city) which is pretty affordable and does not come w/ roaches. I've learned that in Florida you need to be very careful w/ the roaches as i did check into a motel that literally re-defined the concept of "roach motel". Pulled back the covers and what did i find: roaches living not only in the room but in the bed and in the pillowcases. YES!anyway... if anyone has any suggestions on cheap places to stay, it will be much appreciated. PEACE!

    Fort Lauderdale will probably be cheaper than Miami, and it's close, but that depends on how far South you are in Miami. Try AAA if you have it, if not hit the orbits, or Travelocity route. You can also search for spots in Hollywood. I don't know anything offhand, but I don't think that cheap and repuitable really go together.
