just found one of her late 90's album and I have to say I'm I really felt some early to mid 70's touch in the arrangments (think abt all those countless Motown sessions recorded in L.A. by Ray Parker Jr., Chuck Raney, jerry Peters, Bongo Brown, Gary Coleman, Bobbye Hall, etc )by combination a couple of days later, I try to surf the net to get some info on her and I discover that some of her tracks on PREVIOUS albums had been produced by James Gadson with David T. Walker ... is this what they call serendipity ? ...and are there any other classic jazz-funk musician behind contemporary J-pop artists ?
