The rise of flute beatboxing?

Is flute beatboxing an old thing or was it's birth more recent?Have people been doing this for days, going unrecognized? Is Youtube responsible for this sudden rise, allowing the masses to witness the the marvel of the pink panther, heavy breathing, and puckered lips? Doth only white people flute beatethbox?How do we stop it?
