the strength of the gop relies on a coalition of fiscal and social conservatives. that caoliation is gone. that's why they will loose this time. even against hillary. reagan had that combo. bush2 had it too. (bush1 didn't) and the current crop does not have it at all. look at huckabee. the WSJ crew don't like him. look at romney. the xtians don't like him. the fiscal conservatives might break to the dems like they did with warner here in VA. the xtian right should go back to the margins where they belong.

I think that many on the evangelicals are unhappy with their leadership. The national leaders are backing Gulianni and Romney, who they don't care for. The are also frustrated that for 20 years they have been united around one issue, Roe v Wade. Now, after 6 years of ruling all three branches of government Roe v Wade is still the law of the land. They are starting to look at many other issues. The kind of issues their main man was talking about back in the day. Feeding the hungry, giving water to the thirsty, comforting the sick, clothing the naked, visiting the imprisoned and caring for Gods creation. They are finding that the leadership that they put in power has failed at all these things. They are thinking that maybe those guys do not have their interests at heart. They will give Obama a good look.

    Some of them.

Others believe that there is a war going on between our xian soldiers and satans Muslim army. They believe this war is predicted in the Bible. They will not vote for Obama. They may vote for Clinton over Huckababy or Ron Paul?!?!? Maybe.
