My iPod/Tunes Analyzing For Gapless Playback?

All of a sudden it's scanning all the songs on my ipod (60gb). did this happen to anyone recently? maybe a software update? usually when i add songs they will be analyzed then, but today when i plugged in my ipod to add some songs it automatically started doin it to the whole library.im not waiting for it to finish. friggin 9,000 songs will take an hour. i got places to go.

    yeah it was added a while ago. Dont worry about it. It wont effect it if you un-dock it. It will just resume the next time you connect it where it left off.
