Hello folls....Here we go. I want to upload the contents of my ipod onto my work computer but am having a hard time figuring out how to do it. Yesterday, I accidentally erased my library and had to reload all my music when I got home. Now I'm trying to do it again . There MUST be a way to do this. Any recommendations?

It's so funny that you can't just download the songs off your ipod.

I just ran into this at work. Hilarious. Another reason for me to slag off Apple.

I don't use any special program, but if a song is in my iTunes library,
which my entire iPod is when docked, then it is in my iTunes folder (on
Windows, my documents>my music>itunes>itunes music) and can be dragged into
another folder for keeping. It will most likely be MP4, but itunes will
convert any track to MP3 and it will be in the same folder when converted.

You could just go to folder options/view/show hidden files and folders, and you'll see the hidden folder on the ipod with the mp3's, but they will have names like MXCRV.mp3, XVCR.mp3 etc.

i use iDump. It's a program you can store on your ipod and open anywhere and it copies the files to a selected folder, with proper names.
