I caught a foul ball at a S.F. Giants game about 10 years ago and asked Rob Schneider, who was sitting a couple of seats away, to sign it to my kids.
I explained that my girls weren't into baseball and would appreciate it more if it was signed by him.
He signed it to them and wrote "Behave Badly".
I told my kids recently that if they ever get to meet him they should mention the ball....he would never forget some/only idiot who asked him to sign a foul ball!!
Signing a baseball? That's like Barry Bonds signing Funk Flex Vol 2.
but think about it though: that guy probably signed the ball 'cause the ball was all that person had???
It's cool, I'd keep a baseball signed by the Pixies, Morrissey, or Linval Thompson or somebody I dig on, but it certainly wouldn't have much in the way of monetary value. Would it? Who knows I'm constantly baffled by what people spend their money on.
