-MEMOIRS OF REDEFINITION RADIO BLOG: http://redefradio.gather.com/I have been actually writing on here semi-regularly. Yeah, I'm still way behind on where I want to be but I'm still proud of myself...ha. Anyway, I just posted up a very detailed album review of the C.P.O-To Hell And Black album. If you aren't aware of this album, it is a project produced by MC Ren of N.W.A. The MC, Lil Nation, is a slept on talent and all the cuts are by DJ Train (R.I.P). There's lots of lyrics transcribed and plenty of info in the usual Kevin Beacham fashion.I also just updated my "Cut Short Careers: One Album Only" list to reflect all the feedback I have got and all the extra stuff I found going thru my cassettes...Other recent articles: KMC-3 Men With The Power of Ten album review and Musab-Slick's Box album review. Working on bunch of other album reviews (Kaos, Future Sound, Breeze, Class A Felony, Funkytown Pros, Krown Rulers, etc...) and lots of interviews. I've recently tracked down several of the artists that I've covered in this special and have them secured for interviews so I'm just trying to work it out now. This is all in conjuction with my 5 week theme on my Redefinition Radio shows: "Cut SHORT CAREERS-ONE ALBUM ONLY +" (for artists who only had one EP or LP release and maybe a few singles and/or guest appearances). You can hear the first four weeks and see the playlists here if interersted:http://minnesota.publicradio.org/radio/programs/redefinition_radio/Thanx!
